A quick task becomes a waiting game.
You ask for a comparison or a simple lookup. Minutes later, you’re still watching the browser.

01 / THE PROBLEM
Codex browser automation shouldn’t
mean supervising every click.
You ask for a comparison or a simple lookup. Minutes later, you’re still watching the browser.
Open the page. Find the field. Click the button. Repeat the navigation you did yesterday.
Is it thinking, loading, or stuck? Sometimes doing it yourself feels quicker than finding out.
02 / WHAT WE’RE EXPLORING
We’re testing a simple question: can we make Codex browser tasks faster without making the results less reliable?
HYPOTHESIS 01
Group predictable actions together, so every click doesn’t need another round trip.
HYPOTHESIS 02
Focus on the relevant part of a page instead of repeatedly processing everything.
HYPOTHESIS 03
Spot failed connections and stuck steps sooner, before another pointless retry.
Some waiting comes from the model. Some comes from the website. We don’t have a magic fix—and we haven’t proven a speedup yet.
03 / HELP SHAPE THE FIRST TEST
If this is a problem you run into, we’d like to hear about the last time it happened.
